Ahoy Snowbroaders!
Been a hectic few weeks in the Onboard editorial factory. Planning meetings for next year’s content, finishing issues and thinking about blowing the office off for a day to ride now winter’s returned (roll on Friday…) have been keeping us busy.
We’ve also been busy whacking some geil scheisse up on the Onboardsnowboarding.com site that you might get the horn for. Most recently we hooked up with Snowbroader favourite and Slovakian shred minx Basa Stevulova for a straightforward/weird interview that’s pretty fun. Winter plans, baggy pants and vampire AIDS are just some of the talking points.
Still on the exclusive online interview tip we caught up with recent Air&Style winner Marko Grilc last week to get the skinny on his take on the win. Grilo’s been killing it for years and after coming back from a nasty injury last year we’re mad stoked for him.
More extra goodness that we bagged at the Air&Style was a couple of Points of View helmetcam shots. We’ll be bringing you these POVs regularly through the winter and we kick off with Gigi Rüf’s front 5 and Ethan Morgan’s backside 7 on the Bergisel booter. It’s as close as you’ll get to hitting the Air&Style kicker without soiling your unterhosen.
Finally, the latest installment of Absinthe’s sick series Flipside is live and takes you further behind the scenes shooting for Neverland. This time you can check out Cale Zima and Bode Merril tackling Minnesota metal and Nico Müller loving Japan.
Righto, that’s all for now. We’re gonna try get some pow this week. Hope you’re getting some too.

Want to see what the future of Finnish snowboarding looks like?
We were contacted by young Finnish moviemaker Petrus Koskinen wondering if we’d put his crew’s new movie Bugarest on the Onboard site. Having never heard of KBR Productions we checked it out and immediately responded with a ‘HELL YEAH!’
Finland has always been a hotbed of shred talent and it looks like that’s set to continue as Bugarest is packed full of some worryingly good Finns that we’d pretty much never heard of.
Check out KBR Productions’ Bugarest in full on the Onboard site.

Hello Snowbroader people! Great to have this blog where we can share our rambling thoughts and highlights from both mag and web with you here.
Onboard is stoked to bring you Absinthe’s Flipside – taking a look at all the behind the scenes efforts that went into producing this year’s movie, Neverland.
As Brusti and the boys say, “Flipside is the show that takes you behind the scenes with Absinthe Films during the making of our latest snowboard movie – Neverland. Follow the life and times of a handful of the most progressive and entertaining riders in snowboarding webisode style.”
Sick action and an interesting look at what really goes in to producing one of the sickest movies of the year.
Check out Episode 1 of Absinthe’s Flipside NOW.
We’ve also got issue 109 on the shelves - have a look what kind of shredness you can expect within…
TTFN.
